Yes in MyJohnDeere operations heart you can create boundaries around previous field maps (harvest, Spraying, planting, etc.).  If your boundaries change every year then you will have to a manually draw them upwards in Noon under the maps tab.  I practice non know about the other programs similar SMS or farmworks but I assume yous can draw boundaries and upload them too.

When you plant and harvest, while using my jd your boundaries will auto populated. You tin can get back to each tillage, planting, or harvest and select what boundary you want to use. Yous don't have to describe them or drive the fields. georgejr

I've done them both ways. We take RTK and I adopt to drive them so waterways are verbal for case. Nosotros talked our local Deere dealer in buying the wiring kit so we hook up to the gator and is quick to use.
